We were self employed but only wanted 6 months statements and 3 years of rent payments and 3 years tax returns (including 20/21 tax return)Sevendoorsdown said:

We had to provide 2 years worth of bank statements and they ask for every new month. They also asked for proof of rent payments for 2 years. I'm sure they make it up as they go along!0 -
Not self employed…. Can only think maybe proof of rent payments 🤷🏻♀️ Although they do show up on our credit report. Who knows any more! I’ll provide whatever they want if they’ll lend us the money!Sevendoorsdown said:

We've just had an update from broker saying they want recent tax credits notice but we haven't done this yet (won't end up with anything as my husbands income has gone up anyway) it's a very small amount a month and the broker is going to ask them to take it off our income because our affordability was fine without it.
Can this be done!?
I don't think our broker has been as thorough as other's on here and we always have to chase him only to be told "oh they called me and asked for..." normally gets back to us at 9pm! When we can't do anything 😕0 -
The people who had to give the extended bank statements for proof of rent payments, did your landlord fill in the form saying you'd never missed a payment and how long you have stayed there etc?0

No I asked my landlord to send me a 2year statement of payments made and the dates that they were paid. His letter head and all his details are on the statement aswell.Jen271626 said:The people who had to give the extended bank statements for proof of rent payments, did your landlord fill in the form saying you'd never missed a payment and how long you have stayed there etc?0 -
April and may 19 weren’t on the statement my landlord provided hence why bluestone asked us for our bank statements as proof1

We did this and then bluestone came back with one of their specific bluestone forms that the landlord had to move all of information onto before they would accept itSamrau said:
