And just when you think you won’t be asked anything else whoosh they hit you will a list as long as your arm of what the need now. Told mortgage advisor I’m ready to walk away. A years payslips, two years p60, bank statements from accounts I don’t use, savings account statements that they already have cos it’s where my house deposit it, confirm who this was for, what was that for etc etc I’m about ready to burst. MA seemed to think it was good that the requested info for once was actually bluestone and not the packager. March I made offer! March! Valuation already booked. Is this the last of it?? Surely they can’t want anything else!! I’ve sent it all off, it will go to packager then be on their to do list then eventually go to bluestone who will get round to looking at it when? By the time they look at things another month has past so they Automatically ask for another payslip and bank statement. I’m changing jobs soon (sept) so if they don’t hurry up thats
going to take me right back to the beginning. Sorry for the rant I’m sick. I thought I would be getting an offer soon with the valuation being booked. Pass the vodka 🤣0 -

It seems we're all being asked for more from underwriters.
They've asked for current tax credit award notice but we haven't done it yet! (husband hasn't done his return) broker is going to tell them to take tax credits off as income as our affordability was fine without it (it was a very small amount) its going to be an estimated calculation for the award which will probably mean we are no longer entitled anyway.
Our landlord has become very difficult since she got wind of us buying and has put the rent up, asked for inspection and had the house valued twice! Can't take any more pressure.
Hoping we All have positive news soon!1 -
We started the process in 04th April and still no offer. We was told 13 working days on the 03rd of June to receive our offer which was yesterday. They called on Thursday saying they needed employers references to proceed any further which were apparently send in the post. Still today our employers haven’t received them - the seller thought we would be setting a date to move in this week and is getting really frustrated with us! I’ve complained and they are now doing the references by email to speed things up a little. We’ve also made the decision to instruct valuation even though we haven’t got an offer yet to speed up the process and we are sick of waiting and sending endless lists of more and more paper work! Scared our seller is going to pull out. 😔0
