Honestly I thought the landlord was going to lose his mind... They aren't particularly pleased that we are going so having to ask them to fill out ANOTHER form did not go down wellSamrau said:
Oh god well I hope they just accept the statements now because they asked for it and don’t come with another form 😟eje2021 said:
We did this and then bluestone came back with one of their specific bluestone forms that the landlord had to move all of information onto before they would accept itSamrau said:
No I asked my landlord to send me a 2year statement of payments made and the dates that they were paid. His letter head and all his details are on the statement aswell.Jen271626 said:The people who had to give the extended bank statements for proof of rent payments, did your landlord fill in the form saying you'd never missed a payment and how long you have stayed there etc?
I swear they are just something else lol
They might not ask for it, they seem to ask for different things from different people? 0 -
When our broker was submitting the application he sent us a bluestone tenancy reference letter for the letting agents to fill in to show that we had not missed a payment in 2 years. Our broker has been really good he even sent us a gift deposit letter from bluestone before he submitted because he said they would only want these further down the line.0

Does anybody know what they need to put in the employment reference? I have send payslips, my contract and a letter from my employer stating I am no longer in my probationary period (April) and I am not a full time member of staff. So I don’t know what else they need to know?Kb21 said:
I remember someone on this thread had the same issue with the email from employer and when they checked it had either gone into junk or they had the wrong email address. Mayb worth a check. They are normally pretty quick on emailsJessicajessica94 said:We started the process in 04th April and still no offer. We was told 13 working days on the 03rd of June to receive our offer which was yesterday. They called on Thursday saying they needed employers references to proceed any further which were apparently send in the post. Still today our employers haven’t received them - the seller thought we would be setting a date to move in this week and is getting really frustrated with us! I’ve complained and they are now doing the references by email to speed things up a little. We’ve also made the decision to instruct valuation even though we haven’t got an offer yet to speed up the process and we are sick of waiting and sending endless lists of more and more paper work! Scared our seller is going to pull out. 😔0 -

The employer reference is just to check when you started, salary, how long you've worked for them and whether on probation / contract or permanent etc.
The updated reference is just to confirm you have passed your probation.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
How long was everyone waiting from underwriting to offer? Ours was submitted end of May. Still waiting for employment references to be sent out and valuation not been instructed yet. So scared we are going to lose our seller as he’s waited 3 months already.0
