17th of May was last time we were asked for anything. Was 3 months giftors bank statements even though its gifted equity, year the house was built and tax overviews - which id already sent my broker. Not had anything else since. Infact I personally sent the home report on 4th June after you said.  The solicitor got in touch with the broker Monday and he came back and said he spoke with the lender, its in a queue and next review will be 29th of June 🤷‍♀️🙄
My next review is 28th but they’re doing valuation next week so I’m expecting that review to be pushed back a week til they get report off connells which takes 48 hours so will go over the weekend into the following week. If they come back and ask for anything else ridiculous I’ll flip ha

Called BM at blusetones again on Monday as still no news from Broker they couldn't give me much info but said my file was being assessed on day 4 whixh is today, MA got in touch yesterday informing it will be reviewed today. For anyone who feels left in the dark may be worth a quick call to the BM for your area at bluestones. Whilst they can't give you to.much info they can tell you a day when it will be reviewed or looked at again

Do you think that'll be the final review by the underwriters? My broker said he thinks it will but they always have the right to ask for more info.

This has honestly been an absolute madness to me how long and hard it is to get a mortgage for what will be 400 a month and that's only because the interest rates higher with bluestone. We can more than afford it, our credit reports aren't that bad. Literally due to having a self employed business and covid but its been well established now since 2012.

It is just insane isn't it. We have a huge deposit to put down and our credit isn't even that bad and it just feels like such a trauma. Our valuation is being done today... Was hoping to get this finished before the end of June so we can avoid having to pay stamp duty but it's been dragged out for so long now I'm 99% sure it won't be done in time...  :s
  • @Jen271626. Hi Jen yes I am hoping that it’s the last review because the wording was, “13 working days from the 9th June” and as 13 working days is the time the underwriter has plus the fact they’ve also instructed the valuation means I’m guessing it is (surely) at the final stage! But even just having the valuation is massive because at the very least it sends a message to the seller that I am still serious!

Was talking to a workmate last night and they’re using a high street lender and have been waiting since mid March so that’s 2 weeks more than me so at least everyone is delayed not just bluestone so let’s hope the estate agents are feeding that info back to the sellers and keeping them happy. I’m not In a chain ( I rent and seller has moved out already) so at least I’ve got that in my favour. Don’t think I’d cope if I was also relying on a chain of people to all get organised at the same time. The stress must be awful for some of you. I’m feeling a bit more positive now, kinda thinking that if they were going to knock me back they would have by now. Still haven’t read about anyone who has a dip being knocked back at this stage so just stay positive everyone x

Enquiry is a soft search and applications a hard search.
