I would guess they wouldn't do a hard search unless they were happy with the information they already have as hard search would effect my credit rating wouldn't it?0

Yeah, looks like the applications moving along the system. Although some people have had their offer and never had any hard search carried out at all. So strange. Seems a different process for everyone. Im sure its all fine though, they wouldn't waste their time on it if they weren't looking to lend.1

Just out of curiosity, when did you submit your application?Ashswanz said:

Enquiry is a soft search and applications a hard search.Ashswanz said:Hi, Can anyone tell me what the difference is with an enquiry and application on my credit file - Ive had 4 enquires by bluestone over the last 4 months and recently had an application showing - Is this a positive step?
Hard search completed on the 8/06.0 -
My hard search was done on the 4th and they since instructed valuation.Ashswanz said:I would guess they wouldn't do a hard search unless they were happy with the information they already have as hard search would effect my credit rating wouldn't it?0 -
My hard search was completed and they asked for further information - Also my partner is on the application and they haven't done a search on here but I'm guessing thats due to me earning more money?Foreverwaiting123 said:

@Ashswanz no idea how they work out what to do and when but wouldn’t have thought having a bigger wage means anything to them as you will have equal obligation to pay mortgage. If one defaults your both homeless0

We were fully submitted 27/5 but then sent in other documents 3/6 so we don't know which of the 2 dates they're working from 😕 let's hope Friday brings good news for a few more people 🤞0 -
We submitted the 28/5 and they wanted the declaration signed on the 11/6. I wish they would check everything straight away and ask for things within a week so we are not here stressing over any other paperwork they may need.Sevendoorsdown said:
