Hi guys, so those of you that had to go back with any paperwork or queries that the underwriter raised, was it really 10 days for them to review it or did it happen quicker? I’m trying to remain calm but to get excited to be with the underwriter then face another 10 days to have an additional document and question response looked at is so hard :(
My MA got my underwriters direct line and phones them as soon as we uploaded the docs so was seem straight away

Really. Who is it you are you with if you don’t mind me asking? It seems like some MAs definitely have a better relationship. Mine said she had called them and was told it goes back in the queue which just seems crazy for literally a couple of things :(
I was with a company called one2one mortgage solutions. They were incredible. It’s  bonkers u should go back in the queue if they already have seem your file
It really is isn’t it. The estate agent is chasing as to why a valuation hasn’t been carried out as it’s nearly 7 weeks since we offered and had our DIP so to think we have another 2 weeks to wait for any kind of answer is just making me lose sleep :(
  • You can ask for you valuation to be done early but you have to say that you know it’s none refundable if you don’t get a mortgage offer. Just for anyone wanting to hurry valuation up if sellers are getting anxious about waiting.

Our solicitors got in touch today to say they've received it and they're starting to work on the conditions. We've had our searches back a couple of months ago so that's one less thing to worry about I suppose! MA has just got back to us to say there's nothing more for us to do for them... bye mortgage advisor, thanks for all your help and dealing with my hundreds of emails haha.

Hi, thanks for this, so would I just request this through my MA?

    Yup. Ask your broker.
Just make sure you include something in the email that says you are aware that you will not get a refund on the valuation if the application is subsequently declined - but it can be instructed straight away.

Mine hasn’t been that long but the estate agents are so impatient making me very nervous because they have said they may put the house back on the market.

It’s awful isn’t it. It’s a stressful enough process as it is without the added pressure from estate agents.

Exactly I wish bluestone would hurry up and give us an offer so we can move to valuation.
