@Kb21 I've not noticed any additional checks, over and above the DIP, first mortgage and repeated for extension. If you're paying cash from savings, not using credit it shouldn't be an issue. However it's probably safer to wait and ensure contracts are exchanged before shopping.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0

Thank you I’ve spoken MA and he seems to think it’s fine As it is personal money. Not credit cards or finance. It’s only flooring we brought nothing else so should be fine.
