Does anyone who’s competed know of bluestones do any last minute checks before realising the money. We are keen to buy things needed for house but a bit reluctant if they need anything?
Iv not seen anyone say they have, is it just money out your bank account or on a credit card? I dont think id risk putting loads on a credit card till it was all signed sealed and delivered but you should be able to spend out your account surely as its explainable.
Aww no it’s just cash in our bank we don’t have credit cards etc.

Hi, those that have received offers/close to exchange, at what point did you pay the £1495 fee to bluestone?

I wouldn't worry about that then as long as it doesn't make you overdrawn or anything, end of the day they say looking at your statements they just want to see your commitments arent too high. Maybe double check on the ask the broker thread but I'm sure money in the bank being sent on things for your new home is fine.

Mine is being added too, do they not just deduct it off what they'd transfer to your solicitor?

Mine was paid before they would release the funds.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.
