Ours was booked on Friday, went ahead on Tuesday and we got the report today. Apparently we're still at underwriting stage but fingers crossed we get an update soon.

    Hi all
Just paid for valuation today how long have people had to wait for valuation and what happens after valuation?
Depends if you have a online valuation which can happen within 24hours or a physical valuation which can take a few weeks depends how busy they are.

    Thanks for reply. I am
not sure whether it’s online or physical to be honest so will have to wait and see. Once valuation is in do you know if offer is quite quick?
Online is £70 and physical is £345 I think. Something around that mark. We got refunded money cos it was online. We had offer 24hours after valuation
I’m guessing ours must be physical then as we paid £375 today. Hoping it gets booked in soon
We did initially and then they refunded us

Just paid £300 and was told they’ll do a valuation in the next week or so, usually 48 hours after that you’ll get an offer.
  • After thinking brightstar had sent off my application on the17th but then getting more requests or documents I can now happily say they absolutely must have everything they need now. So I emailed my solicitor just to see how the searches are going (paid for April 1st) and they’re not back! Also, the solicitor had asked the sellers solicitor for some documents and haven’t had a response! Urgh man. No mortgage no searches and silence from the seller 😐

Finally had an update! They seem happy with everything.... except apparently the copy of my partners passport isn’t clear enough so they need a new copy 🤦🏼‍♀️ Wasn’t picked up at all other reviews or by the packager 😫 just hope it’s not back to the end of the queue for us!
  • @Kb21 I’m not sure if it’s my solicitor their solicitor or the seller themselves but until my mortgage offer comes through I can’t really make a fuss. If I get
asked for one more thing my head will spin 360.
I’m glad (in a nice way) that other people are in the same boat. It’s the one thing keeping me sane

Does anyone who’s competed know of bluestones do any last minute checks before realising the money. We are keen to buy things needed for house but a bit reluctant if they need anything?

Iv not seen anyone say they have, is it just money out your bank account or on a credit card? I dont think id risk putting loads on a credit card till it was all signed sealed and delivered but you should be able to spend out your account surely as its explainable.
