Its such a minefield with how long it takes some compared to others! That's a pretty long time with silence. Have your broker or packager asked whats going on or able to at least advise what stage you are at? Iv just downloaded the mindfulness app to try take my mind off it all 🤣coral_a said:I’m just losing the will to live! We've had our valuation back and still no update. I don't think our case is particularly complex so I think we're just stuck in the queue with is more annoying because there's nothing we can do about it. I think someone before said that each case takes on average 40 working days so I'm not going to get too annoyed until we've hit that benchmark although its so tough hearing friends and future neighbours getting their offers so quickly...0

I worked it out at an average of 24 working days to valuation & 32 working days overall. Some have taken 50/60 working days others 12. I think it all depends on complexity of case & who you went with, simply adverse seem to get their clients through quicker0

My MA is just saying she expects to hear something imminently. It’s just making me more stressed & convince myself it’s bad news 😭Jen271626 said:

Has anyone read comments on here about bad news? I read a story previously about an applicant who was declined but they were declined fairly quickly and early on in the process. It's the not knowing that's the worst part isn't it and just how long it takes. It will all be worth it in the end though!0

Keep calm. I’ve only seen one case and I’ve read quite far back in the thread. The success rate is high but just a long process to get thereCosy2020 said:Has anyone read comments on here about bad news? I’ve only seen 1 person say they were declined, but don’t know if others have been and not said.Cosy2020 said:Has anyone read comments on here about bad news? If it’s a no I’ll be devastated but I need to know of I need to find somewhere to live! We are trying to buy the house we currently rent so if it’s a no it’ll get sold & we will need to find somewhere else. I just want to know0 -
Our MA said we'll definitely get the offer but I won't believe it until we get it! It would have been lovely to have had some type of update before the bank holiday weekend but I think we've got at least another couple of weeks to wait for an update.
This forum has been great though - it's nice to feel we're not the only people going through the wait!1
