I’ve noticed a few people have said they can see bluestones current turnaround times on their website - where do you find it?
    Its here - https://www.bluestone.co.uk/uk/mortgages/adviser/home
    Thank you!

Hi everyone one we got our DIP on the 24/04 started house hunted found one put a verbal offer in on 03/05, written offer sent 04/05.

MB started the application process soon after not sure what date. Solicitors welcome pack signed 12/04. Bluestone requested a extra years tax return and 3month personal bank statements and to sign the declaration on the 13/05. Two generic ID search and one mortgage quotation search on the 11/05. Sent documents that evening on the 13/05.
Home report is with DM hall and been provide so will bluestone still do another valuation if we have provide this?

We are based in Scotland. I really hope we aren’t going to wait weeks on end. Does anyone have an estimate on time scales or how long they will think we will still wait for our offer to come in??
  • Hi there,
I had a verbal offer today and just needed to send one document back and we were told the written offer would shortly follow, we need to get it done before our help to buy ends on the 31st of may, any opinions/advice??

The websites now saying fully packaged cases being assessed that were received on 29th April. Underwritings now saying 13 working days rather than 11 😔. My dads mortgage company (we are buying off him) has said they will wait until the end of June to see if we can get the mortgage. Otherwise hel need to pay it off in cash until we can from somewhere,  which I am desperate not to happen.

@Samrau it's all down to whether the surveyor / company who did the HR is on Bluestone's surveyor panel.

I paid for a valuation only as the company wasn't and got to see the report as some terms were included in the offer, without seeing the report the terms made no sense; the info was in the title deeds so didn't cause any problems. Offer came in at the price I offered.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.

Connells have been instructed to carry out our valuation today. Anyone know current timeframe when this will be carried out?  Also how long from valuation to offer? Thanks
We had our valuation instructed 14/05/21 and booked in for this Thursday 🤞 on the final run now
  • I know it says processing applications fully packaged in 29th April but what is fully packaged? I was told on 12 may that they would proceed with a five year fixed based on affordability and didn’t require any more paperwork. So would that be fully packaged? Would it have been bright star or bluestone that changed it from 2 to 5 years. My mortgage advisor didn’t say. I get very little info. I know that I applied end of March. Sent a few things, had a gap of 3 weeks when I heard nothing and now the 5 year thing was mentioned. Just wish I knew either way. There’s no chain. I imagine the seller is wondering what’s going on and I wouldn’t blame him
