As far as I know they don’t need anything else. Well, until they need something else ha! It’s taking over my every waking minute also. I can’t think about anything else.Jen271626 said:
I have only had updates the last two Mondays and was for more info. So not sure if that's the way Bluestone, Brightstar or my broker works. Its such a horrible state of limbo to be in. Its consuming my whole mind all week except for the weekends when I can forget about it because I know there won't be any updates.Foreverwaiting123 said:Well I’d like to think I am quite far on. No it wasn’t dip stage. At dip they upped the deposit from 15 to 20 % I think that was March. My most recent email said due to affordability will I proceed with a five year fixed term and that was a week ago and I’ve heard nothing since. I agreed and the mortgage advisor said they would let them know I am happy to continue.
Id defo message your broker for an update on where you are at now if it has been a week with no news.0 -
It said 29th yesterday and this morning they’ve gone back a day!Fingerscrossed16 said:Just checked and they are working cases from 28/04 and now have 14 working days for underwriting...0 -
@Foreverwaiting123 it doesn’t make sense, let’s hope it changes pretty quick. When did you submit?0

I don’t think my MA is checking the portal. I honestly think he feels his work is done and now it’s just waiting. Which to be fair is pretty accurate because all when can do is wait for the official offer. But it would make such a differenceFingerscrossed16 said:Ok It’s the worst thing not knowing... apparently it should flag on the portal to the MA when it’s being underwritten. Mine only went in last Tuesday so not sure if I’m now expected to wait until they work cases from that date and then when they pick it up, a further 14 working days for it to be done. That would make it about 5 weeks time, surely that can’t be right!!
to Me if I knew each stage as we went along. I didn’t even know I was using a packager when I paid for bright star the MA said it was a mortgage application fee! I’ve had more advise from google than I have off my actual advisor.1 -
U have to push your broker to keep on at them. Mine went back and forth atleast once a week. They ended up getting my underwriters direct line. Form the I had offer with 2 weeks. You are paying them to push this for you.Foreverwaiting123 said:

29th March I paid bright star so application would have been a day or two before then they emailed to request payment. I paid valuation at the same time so 599.99 in total.0

It said 29th this morning when I checked and 13 working days 😔. Bluestone have something called blue link which brightstar can track the progress of your application on..so your broker should be able to ask brightstar WHAT stage your application is at. He just doesn't want too!Foreverwaiting123 said:

same! I hate being out of control.Foreverwaiting123 said:Contacted MA just now and they replied to say “application has been submitted to lender”.I kinda worked that out already but wanted to know when 🤣
im guessing many people just sit back and wait. I’m more of a hands on kinda person and like to know every detail. I think that’s what makes it hard because we all seem to be just waiting, and waiting and waiting.....0 -
I'm thinking from reading over my emails with the broker and that I paid Brightstar and his fee on 10th May, that thats when mine was actually submitted and the requests for further info this Monday was a case manager at Bluestone looking over it to check all was there that was required.
I'm in for a hefty wait if they are only on 28th April and some of you who applied beginning of March are still waiting.
Just really hope we hear before the end of June before time runs out.
