Our purchaser’s application is STILL with underwriters. That’s been two weeks 😭😭 why does it take so long!? Surely it shouldn’t take two weeks.0

Hi
Ive been following your posts for a few weeks now.I’m honestly at breaking point.
My application went in on the 26th of February and since then I’ve lost count about how many times I’ve been asked for a document then it goes back in the queue.
I was supposed to complete at the beginning of April and the sellers have been threatening to remarket a couple of weeks ago
I waited for yet another 14 days to be asked yet again for another document and now back in the queue again to wait for yet another update and it’s not even had a valuation
I tried phoning bluestone but they wouldn’t speak to me
I have had a manager from my broker but that’s not helped either.
There has to be a point where I draw the line
Ive tried everything......

It’s such a long painful wait but that seems like a long wait to get where u are. We were 5 week from DIP to offer so think u need to push your MA a bit. They need to keep on at them else they will let it tick away.Hangingon said:Hi

Simply Adverse have sent over the gifter form to fill out and the Landlord reference form (not great as we haven’t told them yet). Both forms ask for a mortgage account number - does this refer to what will be our account number or what is their mortgage account numbers? As mother in law isn’t thrilled about having to put hers?
I’ve emailed to clarify but thought I would ask here as know so many have you been through it.0 -
its standard form we had them. They didn’t contact our landlords but we decided to tell them anyway as they can’t really do anything!disneydreamer1985 said:Simply Adverse have sent over the gifter form to fill out and the Landlord reference form (not great as we haven’t told them yet). The pre-underwriters. She’s asked for all the last things we will need and sent over the direct debit mandate for the mortgage payments and a declaration for the application.Kb21 said:

Sounds promising but don’t be surprised if the underwriters come back for more info. Don’t be disappointed if they do and don’t think so much into it. Everyone’s application is different but I can say u will get what u want in the end so be patient 🥰disneydreamer1985 said:Kb21 said:
