I've just let my broker know our deadline for the house is 28th May and he says they haven't even actioned the information we sent over on 23rd April yet. Im starting to get really antsy now cos my buyer for my flat is waiting to conclude and im so worried we are gonna be without anywhere to live. I've asked him if there's anything we can do to hurry it along, I just don't think he's been chasing them enough either. We paid him £400. We are due another update from bluestone on Tuesday and if its anything other than moving on to valuation and final stages I'll actually cry. That will be 3 months since application. Im just about to give up tbh.

Well... been told that Bluestone have 2 questions for us which could be coming tonight or in the morning... they aren’t requesting any further information from us now though... this is the last bit!!

Your MA should be pushing them to look at the information sent over. Mine did and was seen the day of big the next day. They need to push them

Does he have a manager that you can speak to? Don’t be afraid to complain... 3 months with no change sounds totally unreasonable.

u need to be making phone calls tomorrow and putting your foot down. U are the customer and like you say paying them. Our MA was completely free, didn’t pay a penny to them and they pushed everyday for us.

It really is crazy seeing people’s timelines on here that are so different. There also seems to be different ways of people doing it like paying for valuations early or having to wait until after underwriting. It seems like there isn’t a set process and they are literally looking at each application differently! I hope everyone gets their offers soon (including me!). Hang in there guys! X
