Are you buying a new build?? If so, the valuations are free so they are getting this done at the beginning to speed the process up! I thought the same when ours was done so early

Beginning of June and Scotland. 

Anything can happen in bluestones so be prepared, we had a straight forward application but still on week 9 coursing problems. I hope it is That quick for you thou be fab. Keep us informed

Yeah buying a new build! I thought it might be too good to be true haha. All our searches have been done as well so hopefully we can get the valuation done soon - anything to speed it all up. I don’t understand how they can do a valuation on a house that isn’t properly built yet though 🤷‍♀️

Ours is with the pre-underwriters. Went in on Monday. Our MA said the pre-underwriter had looked through all our financials and they are fine - I’m assuming that’s a good sign?

I wouldn’t assume anything, we are into out fifth week and made non progress whatsoever and this was after initial checks. You aren’t at underwriting stage yet where one question has a 14 working day turnaround for anybreply. It really is like torture!!

Anything can happen at anytime with.bluestone we had our passes with underwriters and valuation requested and still had things popping up. We are on week 9

We obviously put over some information on Friday for the underwriters and update today said it won't be until week commencing 10th May mid week that there will be another update. Week 9 here since application and im just waiting onnthe buyers pulling out! Its painfully slow. Why does everything take 14 days to review?!!
