We have had confirmation our mortgage has offered... so relieved. It’ll come through in writing within 24-48 hours. Our application was submitted on 8th Feb and we were only asked for one additional document regarding a gifted deposit (bank statement proving one part of the funds)
Fingers crossed the rest is pretty quick and straight forward...5 -

So grateful and happy!
Mine was instructed to valuation last week so I'm hoping for some good news soon x2 -

@Fountains_27 we did 3 2 previous years but wasn’t the best (self employed plumber you know what it’s like) so my MA did a predication of this year 20/21 so they needed that to seal the deal.I hope that’s all that’s needed now tbh I generally don’t think they can have any more from us. Still waiting for a update but hope when I do get one it’s more further along than I’m hoping.1

@Fountains_27 think they did that because of the time they had been waiting to ensure bluestones didn’t come back and ask for them to hold things up. The Ma would have them there if needed. I.e if the last ones you sent were in feb but now In April they may want up to date ones to check you income etc is still able to afford the mortgage0

@Fountains_27 I assume you have proof of the sale such as a receipt, advert, or DVLA email / letter to show transfer of ownership?Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0

Hello everyone
I just like many others have been sitting in the background for a number of weeks and have just about managed to read through everyone's posts etc, I must admit it has been very helpful!. The main reason why I haven't posted before was due to feeling negative about the final outcome of my mortgage application and I was constantly thinking I didn't want to jump in on the chat to get excited about things for them to not materialise. I am happy to confirm that after a very stressful 8/9 weeks from application, I am now in receipt of my written offer on my first dream house!
One thing I will say is that choosing the right broker to assist you is key. I would do your research if possible on the broker and ensure that they have a good working relationship with the lenders available to you. This will help in the long run and I truly believe that it has meant my process was as smooth as possible. I had a few issues along the way with being self employed etc but am now so relieved and happy to be where I am! Now to exchange of contracts!!6 -
Hi everyone,
We submitted our app 11th March and had to send a few more things between then and now such as P60s and more bank statements. Our MB is instructing our valuation now, according to him we should have a concrete offer by the end of the next week and don't want any further delays if they then go offer subject to valuation as it's probably going to push us back 10 working days. He did say that Bluestone were pretty happy with our app so he feels confident about instructing the valuation.0
