Scatlow said:Completed today but not without some last minute stress from Bluestone. Day before completion they decided my signature on my DD mandate didn't match my signature on my application 🙈 so had to sign a other form which was a nightmare to get the same as none of my signatures are ever the same.
They also queried why I has sick on my March payslip. Explained I had Covid, Bluestone still not happy and wanted my store manager to reply to an email confirming why I was off.
Finally a day later than planned Bluestone released the funds. Best advice I can give is submit bank statements and payslips at the start of every month. We submitted our mortgage application on the 4th December.0 -

@Kb21 great bit of advice. I've downloaded this months payslips, statements and UberEats transactions and forwarded to my MA whether he wants them or not 🤣1

@pipsinbrum 😂😂 how many sheets of Uber eats 😂. Don’t blame you I’m uploading the new tax return on Tuesday and I may do the new bank statements to as we sent till middle of March. Was told by my MA This morning they are “quite behind” on reviewing cases 🙈.0

pipsinbrum said:Hi @Fountains_27. I've not managed to read all the pages. Have you seen if anyone has been rejected after DIP and full application?
Wish you the best of luck on this Bluestone mortgage journey too ☺
From my understanding, in the rule of mortgage offer DIP does not guarantee offer success as we all are aware.
So, yes read some some rejections in this thread but people dont say much when they've been rejected as it's always crystal clear why.
Most of these enquiries were out of frustration but some had complicated cases or issues that didnt come up during DIP phase as they use soft search majorly for that I.e previous mortgage or long term defaults, complicated earning and spending patterns etc. I wouldn't know what transpires in depth other than what was posted but like we all know everyone's case is different.
To me just do your best to submit all required, dont make heavy transactions during application, submit all document ahead of time and just stay hopeful for the best.
From my gatherings, bluestone mortgage success is high but they can be quite thorough and they like when you give them all they want at once.Scroll through their webpage and you will see loads of helpful info.

Thanks for all your advice so far - really helpful. We’re still saving towards our deposit (new build house isn’t ready until Aug/Sept) do you think this would affect our application? We’ll have enough for the solicitor’s fees and LTT/stamp duty by the time the house is completed as well.0

Funds were supposed to be sent Thursday but there was a problem wkth our signatures. Bluestone are happy with these now and it's gone now for "final checks" before funds can be released ... anyone know how long these can take ?0

You need the remaining deposit, duty tax and solicitors fees before completion.
The deposit will be required for exchange of contracts, unless in Scotland then it all goes over on date of entry (completion day).
