Thank you (again). The broker said it was fine but it’s nice to hear that someone else has gone through the same and has had a success story!MovingForwards said:
Didn't cause any problems with mine as they could see I was consistently saving X per month.Cosy2020 said:Thanks for all your advice so far - really helpful. We’re still saving towards our deposit (new build house isn’t ready until Aug/Sept) do you think this would affect our application? We’ll have enough for the solicitor’s fees and LTT/stamp duty by the time the house is completed as well.
You need the remaining deposit, duty tax and solicitors fees before completion.
The deposit will be required for exchange of contracts, unless in Scotland then it all goes over on date of entry (completion day).

Hi does anyone the current timescales with the underwrites to review our case?0

@newintown44 11-12 working days I was told1

Due to complete on Friday & Bluestone have contacted my solicitor today and asked us both to do a pre-completion call. I assume this is just standard courtesy call? Also we have to sign new Standard Security forms as there are updated ones? Sounds like Bluestone are very last minute scramblers!0

Totally normal. The call is just to go over how much you're borrowing etc and to check you've paid the application fee, unless you've added it into the mortgage.Firsttimebuyer_04 said:Due to complete on Friday & Bluestone have contacted my solicitor today and asked us both to do a pre-completion call.
