Bluestone Mortgages

@ianainbloom do you know how far along you were? I’m on week 3 of hearing nothing. My MA is chasing this week but no hard search has been done on our credit file so I’m assuming still not with underwriters. I was debating this to but don’t want to lose the money if something was to happen0

So we got our DIP on the 18/01/21 and there was a soft search At that point. Then we struggled for the first two weeks as we were self isolating and Bluestone want wet signatures (eye roll). So we spent around 6 weeks in the pre assessment stage then our app was properly submitted on the 11/02/21, the last time we sent anything was the 26/03/21. We have had no further searches but I think CMF updates once a month? But I might be wrong. We are only instructing because our MB is confident that we will receive a offer. I have 1 default just over a year old and my partner has a perfect score so it's been a nerve racking couple of months but it seems like we're getting somewhere finally.Kb21 said:@ianainbloom do you know how far along you were? Does the offer come through via email or post please?

From what Inknow, they would normally post except if this has changed or become flexible due to covid.Hopeful89 said:Does the offer come through via email or post please?
@ Hopeful89 Hope you've started choosing the furniture, lol...1 -
Keep an eye on your experian file for the hard search. We did have a couple of soft search 1 week after applying (March 14th) and then hard search on the 30th of march after a 2.5 wks silence.Kb21 said:@Fountains_27 we did 3 2 previous years but wasn’t the best (self employed plumber you know what it’s like) so my MA did a predication of this year 20/21 so they needed that to seal the deal.I hope that’s all that’s needed now tbh I generally don’t think they can have any more from us. Still waiting for a update but hope when I do get one it’s more further along than I’m hoping.
So I guess once hard search is done they commence to final stage which is financials....We had 2 request with 2 wks wait inbtw, fingers crossed it's the last. MA said we responded fast so back on track but it may take 10 working days to get a response or lesser.1 -
Ah thanks. I’ve been refreshing emails all day like a looney.Fountains_27 said:

I will do. We had requests 2 weeks ago now and nothing since (we knew we had to send new tax return) so just got to sit back and wait. Seems to be going on the same track as everyone else In One form or another.Fountains_27 said:

So I guess the 10 workings days thingy is being applied to you after last request submitted......I am taking courage from @Hopeful89 as it seems she had to wait much longer than us both and she finally got it when she thought she would wait 12 days more due to easter break.Kb21 said:

Fingers cross applying via SE would be a reason to move faster with less query. I do hope anyone with offer that's applied via self employed route can pls give us detailed timeline or what happened after the got the hard search and if further request was made and after that how long more they waited and what was the last thing asked.....someone out there helpppppp us puleeeeeez😜

I received my written offer today via email, I've heard no mention of it also being posted. My solicitor was also able to log into their portal to obtain the offer and begin the next steps. I'm told they also have a back log of getting the offers out as I experienced myself, it may take a few days to reach your MB 👍🏽Hopeful89 said:Does the offer come through via email or post please?

@Fountains_27 yes I thought being self employed, first time buyer and no chain either side may knock some time off but 🤷🏼♀️.So annoying u get knocked back 10
days when they ask for more docs surely they should just take off from where they left off.Yes I would interested to see how SE people who have complete got on to.Have u given your newest tax return?0
