Ah bless us. I can only laugh now. I’m sure everything will work out in the end. At least we are where we are now and hopefully soon will own the houses we wantFirstTimeBuyer428 said:
I'm the same as you, when I was getting asked for more documents I thought it went to Bluestone but I got an email fron my MA on Friday to say the packager has now sent the full application has now been sent. Hope all goes well for you!Hopeful89 said:Soooo we found out today that this whole time our case hasn’t even gone to Bluestone it’s just been Brightstar requesting documents once a week. We got our DIP on 11th Jan so it’s been a long time. What they’d asked for was never full information which has caused us this 2 month delay. If we’d known everything, we probably could have saved ourselves 6 weeks wait so my advice to anyone is to do the research yourself if you don’t feel like your packager has asked you for the right info.

Our MB said this on 6/2
"I have just heard from Brightstar and your application has been passed to the pre assessment team at Bluestone with all the documents we have provided so far. They will now go through your application and advise if they need anything further (not sure they can actually ask for anything else 😂), if they are happy it will pass straight to underwriting and we can expect a decision within 10 working days"
But this was 4 weeks ago0 -
Similar position to you using old htb which has been approved.citylife said:Anyone submitted their application 21.10.2020? Been offered a mortgage yet??
We had our valuation on 14.01.2021, we’re still at the final review. Our MA told us last week BrightStar said Bluestone’s timescales have slightly increased. We buying with HTB (application successful), our solicitor done all the paper. Now waiting for🤞🏾🤞🏾....offer 😩Has anyone waited that long after valuation (6 weeks or more) before ??? Our nerves ...are shattered ...
Valuation 05/01
Been at final underwrite since 27/01 😔
Waiting on atp to be amended then hopefully that's everything bluestone need.
House is ready to move into on the 19/03 can't do anything else until we have a mortgage offer0 -
Yes I got the email on Friday saying it can take 8-10 working days, Let's hope we get some news and not wanting more documents haha! Fingers crossed!Hopeful89 said:

Hi all,
We paid our valuation fee to BS yesterday. Does anyone know what the current timescale for the next stage is?0 -
@Lolly632 when did you submit application?0

21st January, however, feels like a year ago!Firsttimebuyer_04 said:@Lolly632 when did you submit application?0 -
@Lolly632 the wait is killing me, our case manager from our mortgage brokers advised us today that we are due to be “final underwritten” this week and she wants to escalate our application but isn’t sure if this is possible due to a back log. Here goes week 5 with no answers!0
