I received a DIP at the beginning of February. I then completed all forms my MA asked me too & paid for the Valuation straight away. My MA is going through Brightstar. My application only went to Bluestone last week, I was confused as I have been sending relevant information through straight way when my MA has asked for it. When I have read up on here it seems as though Brightstar collect all information THEN submit. I am just wondering does anyone know the time line with going through Brightstar? I'm just hoping I get the offer, I will keep sending my wage slips and statements weekly (as I get paid weekly). I know I will have to be patient but it seems so hard haha!
My DIP was accepted 28/01.
Full application went in 8/2 to brightstar.
This is my 4th week waiting for bluestone to review docs - been told by MA we will have an update by end of play tomorrow.
Hope this helps

Hi guys
I have been reading all of the posts as we are in the application stage. We got the dip and submitted bank statements, payslips, out incoming and outgoings, my husbands 3 years books as he is self employed. It went for the documentation checks and they asked for a letter from previous landlord and then they come back and said they don’t need it because we are living in the property at the moment and paying rent to family. We moved in August. Before we moved in we were hadn’t paid rent from March to July as we were claiming universal credit and were waiting for that to be approved and that would pay the rent . We were council tenants.
I was relieved when they said they didn’t need it but now I am freaking out in case the underwriter asks for it.How many people have been asked for landlord letter? Did any submit one with rent arrears? It has now been sent to underwriters. How likely is it that the underwriter will ask for the letter? Really worried we will be declined if we have to get one. What stage do you think we are at?0 -

Anyone submitted their application 21.10.2020? Been offered a mortgage yet??
We had our valuation on 14.01.2021, we’re still at the final review. Our MA told us last week BrightStar said Bluestone’s timescales have slightly increased. We buying with HTB (application successful), our solicitor done all the paper. Now waiting for🤞🏾🤞🏾....offer 😩Has anyone waited that long after valuation (6 weeks or more) before ??? Our nerves ...are shattered ...0 -

I currently live in a council property and we were asked for a tenancy reference. They will ask for a tenancy reference if you have rented private or social over the past two years. I would try and get the document done ahead of time because it will only delay. Fortunately for me I had no arrears/missed payments but in the lending policy they do allow for missed rent payments.0
