Update. Our application went from Brightstar to Bluestone Tuesday and we’ve had a request today for Jan/Feb payslips. Whilst this is more requests for info we’ve sent, I’m happy and positive because it means someone at Bluestone is finally working on our case :)

Ahh happy for you, I'm just behind you as my full application was sent last Friday. I have been sending pay slips in weekly to my MA as I have seen comments on here to do that. Hope you get your result soon :)

I’m feeling so stressed today our application isn’t even submitted yet they just keep requesting more and more from us every time there’s an obstacle it seems so negative like they will have to check with their manager.

anyone have experience with wage slips different to what’s paid in the bank? They are saying it raises alarm bells but it’s because I lease a car through work and they take the amount weekly from me, which I can get a letter to prove and asked would they like one but not getting any positive answers...
Your payslips should still match up with what is paid into the bank.
We have had a few of these over the years, the car lease should show as a deduction somewhere on the payslip.

Have you spoken to your HR department to ask why it is not showing?
oh i see that makes sense, no it doesn't show the deduction on my wage, HR have sent me a pdf account showing my weekly payments to send on apparently they did it for another colleague
Im not sure if that will offer anything more than your payslips, but I am sure your broker will be able to confirm.
I think generally speaking if you work for a large company everyone has heard of they may be more lenient. If you work for a small business there would be more concern that you could be working for friends/family or that the company is more prepared to just write something to help you out. It sounds like you may work for quite a large company though if they have a HR department, so you may get lucky.

Oh no I do work for my uncles company and a family friend, i have managers above me that aren’t related and the directors aren’t really involved in our day to day business but we aren’t massive we manufacture windows and doors and have for 20 years and turn over around 6/7 million. I don’t know why they wouldn’t show it as a deduction, but it worked for a colleague who leases a car through the company too.
    Awesome.

Bluestone can be flexible with some things, £6-7m turnover is not a small company but obviously not Tesco/Amazon either. Im not sure what the outcome will be in all honesty. On the upside, your broker has picked up on these things before your application has gone in so at least they can be dealt with early on.
Thank you for your feedback, really appreciate it

Has anyone here sent off their app on the 11th Feb and had their valuation booked yet? They have requested further info (tenancy ref/p60) but apparently it's in a queue to be looked at.

Have you guys considered requesting your valuation to be done? We have done this in order to keep the process moving and the sellers happy.

We requested ours with our MA and I said that we understand that if the mortgage offer is not given we would lose the money for the valuation because the work has been carried out.

    Hi Again everyone,
For anyone worrying, our application went in in November and we finally got our mortgage offer on 2nd February 2021. I would say that Bluestone are thorough, and they do ask for a lot of documents which sometimes takes time for them to deal with but just be patient. Our MA pulled off a miracle with my credit history, my partner was on furlough for most of 2020 and going in to this year so we are very grateful for everything our MA and Bluestone have done.

We are now due to complete on 19th March after what feels like forever  . Hope everyone else is getting on okay xx
