So what's the cheapest rate to get new pylontechs? Any benefit to this community buying a stack directly from the supplier if that's even possible? Or bulk buying somehow?
I'm on Pylontechs and would be interested in a bulk deal.
Could use another 2.4kwh module for sure.
It seems that itstechnologies site may be the best, price goes to about £800 per us2000c if you buy over 4.

Anyone else interested? I want 2, one for @EVandPV
That's what I paid for my first 2 Pylontechs 2 years ago.
Was hoping for a price <£800 tbh.
Did someone not post here recently saying some place was selling them in the £750 region ?
Yeah that's itstech, they add a fair amount for shipping.

I'm sad I didn't stock up on these when I had access to them for £650 £700ish
    5.41 kWp System, E-W. Installed Nov 2017
    Lux + 3 x US2000B + 2 x US3000C battery storage. Installed Mar 2020.

I guess prices must be up at the moment with the current shortages.

    1 battery £852 with a £78+vat shipping fee
2 are £1610 with same shipping cost - £805 per unit
4 are £3075.60 with a bump in shipping but a voucher available - £768.90 per unit.

I'm north east of London, happy to coordinate this if there's more interest!!

  • Use force charge until 0430,  force discharge is to take it out the batteries and not use the solar.

Thanks mate and thanks to the rest.
Done now, things look obvious and then it doesn't. hahaha.

  • Myself and another are after Aoboet Uhome LFP-2400's. 2 for me. I can't even import them as our dear UK people have exclusive rights and by the look of it a near 100% mark up on price. I understand making a margin but nearly 100% is just greedy.

$590 USD / (£435) direct or £900+ in the UK

Yeah and the distributors speak to each other before giving you a price to make sure they are not "stealing each other's customers".

To me that is unfair compeition and against the Competition Laws. By sharing info it is also a breach of GDPR.

I so much want to get an additional 2 batteries but at the markup it’s just point less. You would need to prove them talking to each other for the GDPR to be valid and not sure it’s a monopoly as there are other batteries out there just these are priced higher. That’s not monopoly that’s just greed as mentioned before.

Proving was difficult as they said it to me over the phone. I did contact ICO who agreed with me and sent them a letter asking them to investigate and get back to me but they never did.

  • Indeed it is. And of course, after due dilligence they will find all parties innocent. I did ask the Chinese how long the exclusivity deal is with the UK supplier but they haven't replied yet. I'm happy to import and sell them myself, I'd go for 50% margin and see what happens B)
