  • Realised I was quoted the go tarrif of 7.5, whereas I'm on go faster at what will be 6.75, so a 50% rise for the cheaper tariff and over 100% for the base rate
I will be delighted if I am offered that with the same 5 hour slot!  Not sure when my deal expires maybe March
Think its 8.25 for the 5 hours, but I can't seem to find that anywhere tbh
I guess they have us over a barrel.. there is no alternative with a TOU tariff ?

The 2030 slot no longer exists. You will have to choose another slot on renewal
What is the earliest slot?  Don't suppose there is anything I can do except go for the earliest available

EDF do an EV tariff which is still 4.5p for 5 hours, although they'll probably want verification of EV ownership like Octopus now require.
The daytime rate is slightly higher at 34.34p.

BG have an EV tariff too; something like 30p/kWh peak and 12p/kWh off-peak:
Then there are the conventional E7 tariffs (although I doubt any of them will have single-digit off-peak rates).

There is something messed up with that quoting tool.
I put in my current usage for dual fuel and it came back at over 200/month.
Bearing in mind I'm paying £60/month and am over £300 in credit.

  • Hi all, Happy New Year!

I've started the year with good old Covid again and feeling pretty crap right now :s

    First question of 2022.
Is there a way, using the lux software, to ensure that the batteries won't discharge until 0430 when the Go tariff changes at all please? ie the house baseload is using the grid until 0430. I've tried setting timers on the force discharge that doesn't seem to do what I hope it will do.
    Thanks
