  • I just feel it's pointless importing to the batteries to then use it while the cheap tariff is in place. I forgot to add that

Use force charge until 0430,  force discharge is to take it out the batteries and not use the solar.

    Hi all, Happy New Year!

I've started the year with good old Covid again and feeling pretty crap right now :s

    First question of 2022.
Is there a way, using the lux software, to ensure that the batteries won't discharge until 0430 when the Go tariff changes at all please? ie the house baseload is using the grid until 0430. I've tried setting timers on the force discharge that doesn't seem to do what I hope it will do.
    Thanks

Set AC charge until 0430, it won't discharge until after 430. Don't use force discharge, it's not needed and you'd have to set the discharge wattage which isn't ideal

So what's the cheapest rate to get new pylontechs? Any benefit to this community buying a stack directly from the supplier if that's even possible? Or bulk buying somehow?

I'm on Pylontechs and would be interested in a bulk deal.
Could use another 2.4kwh module for sure.

It seems that itstechnologies site may be the best, price goes to about £800 per us2000c if you buy over 4.

Anyone else interested? I want 2, one for @EVandPV

That's what I paid for my first 2 Pylontechs 2 years ago.
Was hoping for a price <£800 tbh.
Did someone not post here recently saying some place was selling them in the £750 region ?
