Any last minute interest for anyone who wants to pool a battery shop from its technology? Buying 4 reduces shipping per unit and gives a £15/unit discount! Collection from northeast side within m25 or I can meet somewhere in the middle!

Will be sub £780, depending on number of units as shipping fees quite flat.
    5.41 kWp System, E-W. Installed Nov 2017
    Lux + 3 x US2000B + 2 x US3000C battery storage. Installed Mar 2020.
  • Hi just joined the group and have been following your tips with great interest and has improved my understanding of LUX and Pylon batteries systems.

I have been with Octopus since January 2020 and so far so good but following your comments with great interest.  Many thanks

My system installed Sep 2020 -  15 x Sunpower in roof system 7 south and 8 east facing 3.6 Solis inverter and three Pylon 2000 batteries, plus I buddy for hot water + Lux Inverter. June 2021 added a further 6 Sunpower South facing in roof with a Solis 2.5kw inverter and three more Pylon 2000 batteries.

I was quoted £1500 each one by a supplier.

  • I've emailed Aobo and no reply so far. Does anyone know if you can hard wire the LFP-2400's into a router? I'm not interested in wifi if I can hard wire. My other question is there is a lot of stuff you can change internally (I won't touch unless I know what it does) from the built in web pages as well. Any info would be appreciated as I can't find anything anywhere on the internet.
    Thanks

Not as far as I know.

what changes do you want to make?
I would like to have the luxpower locally bridged to my own network to save me standing in the garage to get the local app data. Especially as local app updates more often when problem solving

So does anyone know what price are Aoboet 2.4 batteries individually or as a pair for 4.8 ? As Saxon said above we are keen to progress to a purchase but its getting them and a price which seems elusive !

I'm sure I've suggested this before somewhere but could you get together with a third person who already has a pair of Aoboet batteries, buy a pair of Pylontechs and do a swap?

As stated above £1500. Aoboet did in their error send me their price and quickly came back asking me to disregard as their was an exclusive contract in UK. Let’s say with postage and even customs tax I would have been able to afford two and have change for UK price of one
