From what I can tell H goes to pin 4 on the RJ45 plug and L goes to pin 5

So 4 is blue and 5 is bl/wh if it is a standard rj45
pins are numbered left to right with clip facing downwards.

On the video he shows how to get a reading from the battery. As this is not writing to it, it may be a way you can test the above

Ok I've checked the wires and as newbuilder says pins 4&5 are coloured as you have stated and indeed the ones I have paired back. The video highlighted again by newbuilder 👍🏻 is a more detailed version of what I did under phone contact with some steps slightly changed, which I can readily highlight. The one thing I didn't do was check the battery firmware as Aoboet did this remotely. I'm going to get the USBCAN working and as newbuilder suggests connect it to my old battery to identify the firmware as they show in the video. I'll post again later today when I've been through this process, competing with all the other stuff on the list today and a Manchester derby to watch !

Ok wife walking the dog for a while so I've connected up the wires and plugged into my old working battery and it now reads the firmware version 👍🏻. So I'm happy the kit works, however big health warning........ If you watch the video it talks about a firmware version of GD305 when you are identifying the firmware. Mine is now the firmware they sent me and I don't know what it was prior to the update. There are a couple of other minor changes to the video, which I can write down.

Just had a quote for 8 x 5kwh batteries (called easyway) from eWay energy in China (51.2v 102Ah) at 5832 USD or about £4550 delivered to my address, I believe they are duty free but  20% vat chargeable (even though gov have announced solar batteries 0% vat). So works out at about £680 for 5kwh, at 43kg they are not light !  I have the compatibility with inverter range info and info on batteries. EWay have confirmed they make some of the uhome range (rack mounted) like the 2.4 and 5 kWh range and then badge up as uhome/Aoboet. Im also looking at air source heat pump, hence the larger battery stack. If i do go down this route I'll post again to see if there is any interest for additional batteries.

Finally got my Fogstar rack batteries up and running, so far so good!

I've got two remaining UHome 2400 looking for a good home, any takers before I delve into the murky world of ebay?

'Big Connectors', will come with one pair of battery cables (and an inverter connection +ve and -ve).
