I Recently had lux inverter and 4 hanchu 3.2kWh batteries ( total 12.8kWh) installed. After a week I noticed that 2 batteries were not charging and had no leds illuminated. I switched the batteries on and the red leds came on. For a while the lux reported 4 batteries but after a while this reverted to 2 and the other 2 batteries again had no leds illuminated. Anybody know how I can fix this?
If they've been recently installed,  just call the installer back to fix the problem !

But if that's not an option,  I'd recommend switching inverter off, disconnect all batteries then start the installation process from scratch.

  • So I've got the latest firmware from infinity for the new batteries I've just received for the failed ones. GD305 version, I'll be updating tomorrow to see if it cures the 2% SOC loss / hour I'm losing when battery stack on standby.

I recently added 3 used UHomes to my existing 3 and I'm having a lot of trouble with not being able to get anywhere near the total capacity I should be able to. I have the latest firmware on all batteries as well as the inverter and the batteries have no bad cells. I'm hoping it's a balancing issue. Could you be having a similar balancing issue having added new batteries to existing?

I don't think so, as SOC for the new(s) and 1 old battery are all almost exactly the same, cell voltages are all within 0.01v. it looks like it's been happening for a while I just noticed it the other day when I didn't charge the batteries overnight as the following day was a sunny one. First time this year 😁. My old stack were rock solid overnight, so I'll see what the new firmware does.

  • Updates done on the new batteries, master battery took awhile to complete as the download bin kept failing, however completed eventually. Others went through fine. We'll see what happens over the next few days to see if the SOC loss on no load has reduced.

That was my version before I updated them this morning. I'll keep you posted if it cures the SOC loss.
