    That's roughly what I got at 10pm.

But it's back online this morning

  • Yep. Would be nice  to get advanced warning when possible and at least a status response when there are issues.
Ok not always possible but nevertheless......
  • Can anybody explain why I am importing power?

  • A lot depends on if this is transient or happening all the time. Transient then I see this momentarily as the controller moves from charge to discharge or vice versa. It is very short lived, less than 30 seconds

  • Thanks Chain. No not the usual transient change reaction. Had been stuck in that situation for maybe 39 mins to an hour.

I cannot understand why. Discharge limit set at 20% but that should not make it charge to get to that level surely when there is no excess from solar?

Further it has since increased ( under the same no excess conditions ) to 15% and then dropped to 14%.

Wonder if it is still a Lux comms issue....

  • Is there anything in your "charge" settings that's making your battery want to charge to a higher level and at a slow rate? eg the various charge rates in this area all mine are set to 100%, so if the battery wanted to charge it would do so at max rate not the 13-14% they are doing

  • I should have written better. Those percentages are State of Charge not rate. Also cannot see any settings astray!

Now after a good afternoon SOC it is up to 48%. Solar going away now but have been exporting 100W ( for several minutes ) rather than charging and don't recollect that state much.

Will see how things go tomorrow a good day is forecast.

    Thanks

At the bottom of the maintenance page is a reset button. I use it often, especially when I've been setting 3 different import times for odd Agile slots, just to clear everything to zeros and the basic standard settings to 100%. My stop discharge SOC stays at 20%.

Take note (or a pic) of your settings now and try reset, it might help.

Good shout from Alnat, the 100w export could be reduced. when your system is at steady state load eg this evening what is your in home display of your smart meter reading? If it is showing hi export 20-70w (luxpower was showing much lower export) then you can reduce this by entering a CT offset figure via the web Maintenance page you'll see CT Power Offset, mine for example is set at 60 as I was continually exporting around 70w at all loads of battery charge/discharge, now it is single figures export. Just picking on your comment re exporting 100w
