  • For UHOME there is no formal way of doing it. Don't let people confuse you with the other brand that work a lot like UHOME- name slips my mind.

I have previously, disconnected them from the inverter and watches them on the app - you will see that they start to pull or push amperage about but I have been told it is not needed and pointless. Mine only every charges to99 % now.

  • Ok thanks, it's the first time they've done this so hopefully will get back in balance ! Is there a error or fault alarm if the battery stack individual battery lowest to highest% goes above a certain %?

  • don't know never had them out of balance of any more than a few %- always the master seems to be lower. Other way would be to swap them around for master shot but that means reconfiguring and I can't be *****

  • Online-offline-online-offline seems to be the norm now (been offline since 6am today) & has been for weeks.

In the colder months I use charge priority adjustments from time to time depending on house usage but this is proving to be extremely frustrating.

Will Lux ever resolve this ridiculous situation?

With respect that's not my experience and even if the central web/app service was down - there's nothing stopping you from connecting locally to your inverter via the app.

There was a post on the UK Facebook page about the availability issues some people are experiencing and Lux are actively looking at it .....

By the way, no issues experienced here today.

The link suggests that only a few people are causing this to happen to the rest of us. I don't use any other apps or Home Assist & the Lux app/web browser used to work without issue until recently.

Attempting to connect locally via the app on my iPhone has been another frustrating experience - I can connect to the dongle correctly (without connecting to regular wifi) but the main login page on the app then changes instantly before I manage to hit 'local connect' so I never seem to be able to make a local connection.
  • Wattstored have you turned off mobile data when trying to connect locally, as it won't "login" if it can't see the internet, which then allows you to connect locally, well at least on android.

@Wattstored I can only speak from an android perspective but: -

    1. Using your normal WiFi/data connection, launch the app as normal.
    2. Select the user icon in the top right when logged in and select logout.
    3. At the app login page, deselect 'auto login'.
    4. Turn mobile data off.
    5. Connect to the inverter's dongle WiFi ssid, it'll be something like 'BA12345678'
    6. On the app login page, select 'local connect'.
    7. Then select 'TCP connect'.
    8. You should now be at the animated front page of the inverter display - the app in local connect mode will only give you access to this front page and 'settings'.

Sorry if you already know the above, but just putting it here in case you didn't.

Do you find you can stay locally connected for a reasonable period of time? Even if I turn off mobile data and "forget" my normal WiFi, it'll generally only stay connected to the dongle for a few seconds before it gives up (if I'm quick, usually long enough for me to turn AC charge on or off and that's about it)
