    Tried that and got the circle of doom for a minute then it clicked back to my usual site without eu. in the address, and showed the Offline page

    Has anyone emailed Lux or their UK distributor about the lack of access to the web portal?
    I have also tried eu site, but it only gives me data on the second inverter and not the primary unit.

    the lack of access (according to the distributor) is due to one or two people using programs to auto refresh the data from the inverter to Lux so often it is crashing the site. They are working on a way to stop this.

    The Luxpower UK Facebook group has had a lot of chat about these issues over the last few days. There's a few people on there from an IT background who seem to think this issue should be very easily fixed if they have even half a clue what they're doing (load balancing, rate limiting, IP blocking, etc etc). It does appear that the servers are a bit of an amateur setup at the moment which isn't ideal given they can control our inverters remotely.

    That's why you liaise with your CSP, in this case AliBaba cloud to implement DDoS protection to rate limit and traffic. shape traffic from sources identified to be causing issues. This is all basic networking 101. No need for this service to. keep going down. AliBABA cloud, like all cloud providers provide a full suite of tools to scale and protect web services.

    Server access issues should all be sorted now - I've got a lot of sympathy and respect for Lux as these sorts of issues can be hard to track down and it doesn't help when some customers are quick to ridicule them when they don't know the facts.

    True to their word, there's also an updated app available in the Play store on android.
