No rush for me until I get my smart meter installed I will just sit as is.. have moved to octopus so stage one completed

Yeah I moved.... a month before lockdown.
Sat paying over the odds for leccy as cant go onto go/agile.

Though on the plus side I've bought less than 600kwh  since installing the lux's in March, even though I'm using about 700kwh a month.
(Going by smart meter and generation meters, not the lux usage which is total garbage data for me)

Just got our August Agile bill, the savings were worse than I thought.  :/
We averaged 5.83p a unit during August. Compare that to our March bill when we were still on Go and frequently charging the batteries from the grid which came out at an average of 5.99p a unit.
So really, the only saving was the standing charge which is 4p a day cheaper working out at £1.24 for the month.   :s
July, our first month on Agile, was slightly better at 4.87p a unit but of course we were charging the batteries more from pv and less from the grid.
Still to be convinced it's worth the bother of coding my own version of octolux and training the mrs to avoid heavy consumption during the peak period.
Having said that, now I've got my script running how I want it and ironed out any bugs, I can pretty much leave it to do it's thing unattended. The mrs, not so much.  :p
Hopefully the comings months will be see better savings.

Agile has been pricey... Check out the trend of my per unit cost since I started data logging in April!

First chart - includes solar. I.e I'm taking daily house consumption and dividing by daily cost. Not a massive increase there as octolux is making my batteries contribute when unit rates are high.

Second chart - import only, so does not factor in overall house usage (I.e. Solar / battery consumption). This is a bit more of a tell to show how unit prices have gone up from the 0-5p range to the 5-10p range.

    5.41 kWp System, E-W. Installed Nov 2017
    Lux + 3 x US2000B + 2 x US3000C battery storage. Installed Mar 2020.

Don't think you can do it yourself.
You'll probably need to email Luxpower with your inverter serial number.
You can change your password on the web portal once logged in but don't think there's a way to reset yourself.

    Anyone on BAAA-1010 firmware ?
I've noticed some strange ct readings at night, it seems to be reading about 100 watts too low and the graph is all over the place showing discharge one minute and import the next.
The readings were much more consistent on the previous firmware and our consumption was between 200 and 300 watts at night with no import at all whereas now they're showing between 100 and 200 watts.

    Previous firmware .....

Mine was updated on 04/Sep to BAAA-1111 and have no issues on that one. Maybe you could ask for an update.... again...

Cheers, I'll get in touch with Luxpower.
They've definitely cocked something up with BAAA-1010.

Perhaps a little bit smoother transaction between charge/idle/discharge at sunrise/sunset - at least I think I hear fewer contactor clicks since the update, plus maybe slightly better aim to 0W power when discharging - but again, not a massive difference. Couldn't find any new info or difference on the web monitor.
I was quite happy with it before, happier now, it definitely hasn't got any worse with the new version.
