interesting! i see two versions available
    app_pcs_aaaa-xx18_202007.hex
    app_pcs_aaaa-16xx_202007.hex

Numbers don't correspond to anything obvious, would rather not brick my inverter!

would love a self upgrade option. haven't had much luck through Jake lately - he's been reluctant to provide a firmware which appears to have octopus agile iintegration when he's personally selling a packaged solution for this which seems to compete.
    5.41 kWp System, E-W. Installed Nov 2017
    Lux + 3 x US2000B + 2 x US3000C battery storage. Installed Mar 2020.

Not sure if this has been covered before, but if you have an EV & and a battery, can you set the Lux or Sofar inverter so that it will still charge the battery on cheap rate electricity (Agile or GO) when you are also charging the EV?
Does the standard software or Octolux allow that?
Obviously, if we were being paid to use electricity on Agile or it was a very low rate, we would want to charge up both at the same time.
Also, would want to avoid the EV taking its charge from the battery.

Yes, you can set up to 3 scheduled charge times with the Lux app and/or web interface.
The battery won't discharge while ac charging is enabled and if you didn't want to charge the house battery whilst charging your EV you can just set charge power to 0%.
I'm currently using a Python version of octolux I wrote which uses the Ruby ac_charge modules. It also triggers my Zappi EV charger during the cheapest Agile half hourly slots so the EV charges at the same time as the house batteries.

After looking at some recent price data I maybe wasting my time and money pursuing this.. the simple solution of Octopus "go" and charging batteries at 5p a unit overnight in winter  is probably about as good as Agile, discuss ?
Just about completed our first month on Agile and I can't say the savings are huge, tbh.
Maybe a fiver at best.  :/
I'll give it another month or 2 to see if it improves over the autumn, maybe it'll be more worthwhile with less pv ??

I'm guessing the aaaa-xx18 and aaaa-xx16 parts are the firmware versions ??
    Mine is on BAAA-
0F0F currently which would appear to be a newer version.

Note - octopus prices have been stupidly high in the past month.... Don't gauge your average based on what you've recently seen!
