I'm wondering if it won't update via the app if the firmware on your Lux is newer.

Just about completed our first month on Agile and I can't say the savings are huge, tbh.
Maybe a fiver at best. 
I'll give it another month or 2 to see if it improves over the autumn, maybe it'll be more worthwhile with less pv ??

Well if thats the case take me a while to recoup the cost of the Pi ...

"Firmware version starting with BAAA is for the AC coupled inverter and AAAA for Hybrid inverter ."

Just got another reply from Luxpower, they've updated my unit to BAAA-1010 firmware.
Can't say I can see much difference, nothing different in the settings as far as I can see.

Nothing about octopus integration? Who updated it - jake? Or luxpower themselves?

Luxpower in China.
I've asked them about agile integration in the past and they directed me to Jake. 🙄
When I emailed Jake he said it applied to their new models and they had no plans to implement on previous models. 🙄
Kind of leaves you with the impression they're not really interested once they've sold you a product !

LOL yep same experience here! How did you reach out to them for the upgrade? When I've done email/ Facebook in the past they just refer me to Jake and the experience dies there.

To be fair, they've updated mine any time I've emailed them.
Just a pity we have to chase them up for it each time. 🙄
Hopefully, ac units will eventually be able to update via the app.
I've asked them for details of what changes the update provides but I'm not holding my breath.

No rush for me until I get my smart meter installed I will just sit as is.. have moved to octopus so stage one completed
