I never noticed that "Charge Last" before.... not even sure what it does...

they are a friends and are in a garage so kinda makes sense although its not that cold here, il ask him to try and find out the room temp tonight and seeEVandPV said:
Does sound like your pylons are starting charging cold. They'll warm up as they charge, hence the increase in charge power.martin2020 said:Does Anyone have any ideas to why 2 x pylontech batteries would be restricting charging rates on their own, from flat the bms says charge rate of 20a then upto 30a and only when the soc reaches about 45% does it revert back to full 50a charging. the discharge on the lux shows the bms remaining at 50a though.
I considered the cold but, it aint that cold at night
all lux setting for charge is set to 100%
temps in the inverter history data shows 16c minimum at night
What temp is the room they're stored in ?0 -
It's possible to monitor the internal temp of the pylons with the Batterview app if your mate has the required serial cable. I would put a fair bit of money on it being temp related, especially if he's charging them at night in the garage.martin2020 said:

agreed, feels nice and toasty sat in the house but at 2am in a garage its a different story, be interesting to find out the air temp for sure...EVandPV said:

Is it me or we have some new stuff on the Maintenance page?
I never noticed that "Charge Last" before.... not even sure what it does...
3kW solar PV, Lux 3600 with 4 Pylontech batteries
Tesla Model 3 SR+0 -
I think it only applies to hybrid inverters, according to the manual.
Charge first means to charge the batteries before supplying the house so charge last is presumably the opposite ??
Don't remember seeing floating voltage before either.Scott in Fife, 2.9kwp pv SSW facing, 2.7kw Fronius inverter installed Jan 2012 - 14.3kwh Seplos Mason battery storage with Lux ac controller - Renault Zoe 40kwh, Corsa-e 50kwh, Zappi EV charger and Octopus Go0 -
theres also a restart inverter button top left thats new, im guessing its chinglish for reset inverter0

Is anyone seeing issues with the latest BAAA-1111 firmware? My inverter was auto-updated, and now I'm having issues charging through solar, and discharging.
When there's lots of solar it will charge the batteries fine, but as soon as it drops the inverter stops charging the battery for the rest of the day and all my PV is exported from then onwards.
When it comes to discharging, the inverter seems to enter Status 00 and doesn't do anything at all.
I'm in touch with the supplier and Lux who are investigating, but wondering if anyone else is seeing something along these lines? I can't directly correlate it to fw BAAA-1111 being installed as I don't know exactly when that happened, but it never acted this way on 0F0F.

Mine is fine on BAAA-1111 but I did have an issue with small amounts of import on the previous firmware.biohead said:Is anyone seeing issues with the latest BAAA-1111 firmware? My inverter was auto-updated, and now I'm having issues charging through solar, and discharging.

Maybe if you post a screenshot of your settings we could check against ours to see if it's a setting that's changed.
Can I ask how you know it was auto-updated ? Most of us have had to chase Lux or the supplier for updates.Scott in Fife, 2.9kwp pv SSW facing, 2.7kw Fronius inverter installed Jan 2012 - 14.3kwh Seplos Mason battery storage with Lux ac controller - Renault Zoe 40kwh, Corsa-e 50kwh, Zappi EV charger and Octopus Go0 -
I never asked for it! I did ask for 0F0F a while back, but that was my only request to them.EVandPV said:Can I ask how you know it was auto-updated ? Most of us have had to chase Lux or the supplier for updates.
Good shout on the settings - although they've all been reset today (didn't seem to fix it though). Here's what they look like right now:

Ok a couple of things different to mine.
Your 'feed-in grid' is enabled, mine is disabled.
And your 'reactive power' is at 100%, mine is 60%.
Although I'm not sure those settings would cause the issues your having ??Scott in Fife, 2.9kwp pv SSW facing, 2.7kw Fronius inverter installed Jan 2012 - 14.3kwh Seplos Mason battery storage with Lux ac controller - Renault Zoe 40kwh, Corsa-e 50kwh, Zappi EV charger and Octopus Go0
