The 'grid charge power rate' is the one you use for the ac charge schedules, your Octopus Go period, and the 'system charge power rate' is the amount of surplus pv to charge with during the day.

A lot of the settings are a bit cryptic and don't make much sense at first glance.

Oh !!!!!!, I looked last night and cheapest was 7p and worst was 32p i think, so I thought, yeah best sticking with go.
What i need is a fifer to make a weegie friendly box thats plug and play to manage that for me i think. 🤔😂West central Scotland

Couple of clicks on their website and their system does the switch automatically at midnight.
And you can change back to Go the same way.
