I couldn't get the built in Windows scheduler to work with ruby files though so used a program called Z-Cron instead. I used it to run a batch file every half hour which triggered the octolux script.

The server appears to hold the battery SOC for when octolux needs it from what I can tell but I've no idea how it works.
Like I say, I'm now using my own script which gets the battery SOC directly from the pylons via serial cable in order to work out how much charge is required.

Just set this up.. 4 hours charging on "Go" from 00:31 - 04:29... The AC charge level was set at 95%.. I have changed it to 100% is there any problem with that? Also set charge rate to 80% reduced from 100%... comment on another thread re "It being a little kinder to the batteries" My theory is that this setting could put 11.2 kW into the battery as the max charge rate is set at 3.6 kW.. am I right ? (Battery is 10.5 kW). TIA3.995kWP SSW facing. Commissioned 7 July 2011. 24 degree pitch (£3.36 /W).
