I love it that my DH working at home - Im very lucky. However 2 adult sons at home is a different matter!

    In what way?
When my OH used to work from home, we treated it exactly as if he were in the office.
Study door closed, no interruptions, timed coffee breaks and lunchtime.
Some people treated working from home as an excuse to go off and do shopping and all sorts of other things - which reflected badly on all employees trusted to be fair.

The news have been showing people of, lets say of a certain age, stating they won't comply

Let’s hope then that the ones who won't or don't comply don't get ill. If you do then don't go to hospital wailing as it was your doing in the 1st place

The Daily Wail are showing people still going out to the pubs etc., well foolish behaviour and it puts others at risk. I for one am in the vulnerable category and indeed to comply

But lots of people are going to abuse the self isolation for all its worth plus until pubs and restaurants are told to close most have no choice but to stay open because insurance wont pay up as discussed on 5 live yesterday......they are trying to wriggle out of paying because its a new virus

Including Stanley Johnson, the PM's son.
How can the government expect anyone to comply with a request when your own Father does this publicly?
Stanley Johnson has vowed to defy his own son's official guidance about coping with the coronavirus pandemic despite being in one of the most at-risk groups.
The 79-year-old former politician and I'm A Celebrity star told This Morning's Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby that he wouldn't stay indoors.

He's 79 so in the at-risk age group, don't know if he's got any underlying health issues.
So why should healthy 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 year olds stop going to the pub?

While its only common sense to self isolate if you want to be here to tell the tale after its all over I realy think a lot will be left with depression and the divorce rate will spiral.
Afterall the first week of January sees solictors overwhelmed with couples applying for divorce after being forced together for just a week over the Christmas period so goodness knows what any longer will cause.

I heard the other day that the divorce rate in China increased a lot after couples were forced to isolate together.

My husband and I spend lots of time together anyway so we are used to it, lol. :D

I think it's the uncertainty getting to me at the moment, not knowing when the virus will recede or what our household needs to do with regards to medical conditions.

At the moment we are both on the vunerable list, some websites would have you believe all vunerable need to lock themselves away for 3 months. I've seen on a BBC article that those most at risk (1.4m) will be contacted next week for more stringent measures than social distancing. Well there are more diabetics than that alone in the UK!

I am being very strict about social distancing and Mum is still communing for work. She has more than one condition so isolation might be a route for her. I feel personally my condition won't end up on that list, it's stable, and also I'm not sure how we'd cope practically. Delivery services are already overwhelmed and we don't have many friends or family that could help due to their own issues.

If Mum decided to or is advised to isolate we'd probably modify the advice given for households where one is suspected of having the illness. Relax it a little but not too much.
