But the Nottingham BS did have some good RSs a few years ago... maybe they'll come back?1 -
Any idea where the terms and conditions for old accounts can be found?cosh25 said:If anyone lives near a Newcastle Building Society branch they have launched a reg saver. Fixed until September next year, paying 2% on up to £200 per month. Can only be opened in branch though.

Don't know where to get t&c, but all the Newcastle BS regular savers have a 2% interest rate and a limit of £200 per month. If you opened one early enough you can make a thirteenth payment. Think you can withdraw money early without penalty.hangryconsumer said:

I'm hoping the hiatus is covid related - being (nominally) branch only I've got the distinct impression they don't want a stampede of customers arriving in person to open accounts.soulsaver said:1.2% is 6th in the ToTP easy access listing.. The notable launches by other building societies have typically been those where online/postal/phone applications are openly welcomed/required. The Beehive offering fits that pattern, even if the interest rate isn't that notable now.

I got the first one but never liked using an account designed for homebuyers so I didn't get any of the subsequent issues.SFindlay said:Virgin have released their latest Homebuying Coach Regular Saver, issue 11, paying 1.75% for 14 months.
I do not understand why Virgin Money do appear to restrict eligibility without actually restricting eligibility. Why don't they just have a standard regular saver.
That said, 1.75% doesn't appeal to me now.0 -
Looking for an increase in the VM 1% thing, before moving out to Cov at 1.5% on 1/6. have to go into branch to shift the lot though0
