Probably been covered so apologies, but can you hold more than one issue of the Gatehouse RS at one time?

I have more than one Gatehouse Regular Saver but they are different issues. You are not allowed more than one of the same issue.

That's interesting. I wonder if they have since updated their T&Cs, as the new  Regular Saver Account (Issue 2) product literature states:

"Only individuals can open an account and only ONE Regular Saver account is allowed per person. Joint accounts are not permitted. When your account matures at the end of the 12 month term, you may open a new Regular Saver account, subject to availability at that time."

Chase (savings) or Kroo are good options for the standing orders to be set up on. Just top the account up once or twice a month (manually, from another easy access account with a better interest rate but no support for standing orders).

The wording was the same when Issue 2 was launched AFAIK and I seem to recall there was this same discussion at the time but Gatehouse was allowing people to open and keep both accounts.

It seems Gatehouse has now began enforcing this term with new accounts that are opened though.

Yes. I have both, issue 1 (7%) and issue 2 (5.3%).  It says in t&c that you can't, but they system allowed me to open and run both.

I do too & Gatehouse are fully aware that I have 2 completely different issues and there seems to be absolutely no problem with that.

Have the Principality changed their guidance on making payments in?

Their (newish) website says to make payments in using your own name as the payee name. I could have sworn the previous guidance was to use 'Principality Building Society' as the payee and select the 'Business' account option.
I paid in some money this morning the same way I've always done it (using PBS as the payee, and selecting them as Business) and it successfully credited the account I sent it to.
I've just called them. They HAVE changed this so any new savings accounts should follow the new process though clearly it can't matter that much given what you've experienced.

Thy have changed their guidance but you can use any name you wish. You just won't get a COP match if you don't follow their guidance but so long as the sort code, account number and Reference are as per Principality's advice, your money will arrive alright.

The Reference Number for Principality accounts opened in the last hour or so is not recognised in the COP checking yet, so if you want to pay money in today, you might have to ignore the COP result (where you can - - - Santander, for instance, unhelpfully won't let you make any payment to unknown Reference numbers)
In an ideal world, I suppose you would only get your account details when the bank can confirm a COP check will pass.
Santander has let payments go through when they system doesn’t recognise the Reference number
It brings up a box with a yes no

    TIPTON
I wouldn't worry - I asked for the majority of mine to be sent to my nominated account which is yet to happen (£10 is correctly showing on the Tipton Easy Access).
I asked for £20 to go to a Tipton EA Account and the rest to my nominated current account.
The RS Saver is now a Maturity EA Saver in the app as of this morning, but no funds yet in the nominated account.
Maybe I’ll have to wait to Monday.
It looks as if people who requested a full withdrawal got theirs first thing, but those of us with a maturity option and part withdrawal are awaiting funds in the nominated account.

I can see a FP applied against the withdrawal component in my maturity option but it hasn’t arrived yet.
I had three Regular Savers mature today with all having, at least some of the, proceeds due to land in a Nationwide Current account.

Cambridge BS - top marks arrived around lunchtime
Tipton BS and Yorkshire BS - still waiting.
YBS payment now received - mid morning on a Saturday is pretty good!
    And Tipton now received too.

Received my transfer from the Tipton Regular Saver early this morning too. 👍
