As I mentioned/suspected a while back, the Tipton and Coseley regular saver is not going to have a renewal option, or at least thats what I've been told again today.
Seemingly no plans for any RS.

I'd better open the Nationwide 6.5% one before that disappears!I'm with you but for TSB, mine matures on the 10th October and wanted to wait until the 31st so I could make a 1ST of November payment as well, but looks like they might be dropping. So will just renew on same day.Perhaps the backdrop of rates overall dropping and expected to drop further, and also deals at or around the 6% they offer being shortlived.I think it's sensible to get any products you're interested in now or ASAP, especially when the gain on waiting is marginal.I agree you can’t let the grass grow under your feet but I think regular savers have so far held up well. In the past two weeks I’ve opened Melton R.S @6% Market Harborough @6% and Zopa @7.5%.

Melton BS Regular Saver 6'Nipped' to Melton Mowbray to get the wife's account sorted. Electronic ID had failed when we applied although they reran it today and it was fine. I'm presuming they miskeyed something with our posted forms.Oh well, nice trip to a town I've never been to.The very nice member of staff said they'd be able to open the account since we applied "before it was withdrawn". I said I wasn't aware it had been, and she said something along the lines of "oh yes, it hasn't yet".In short - last call for this account.0

Recently opened Market Harborough BS Reg Saver at 6%, in last week of Sept
Received a call from a market research company asking how was the experience with MHBS
Are they just sharing our data with third parties without consent?
Was it somewhere in terms & conditions document in fine print, that we have given away our privacy rights?

flaneurs_lobster said:No different to the common follow-ups after opening accounts elsewhere, except MHBS have outsourced it. Think this is included with the usual agreement to receive marketing and other comms. The research Co will have the same GPRS responsibilities as its sponsor. You may mean GDPR.ChewyyBacca said:Recently opened Market Harborough BS Reg Saver at 6%, in last week of Sept
