Has anyone else just been told off for the interest that Virgin themselves added to the Regular Saver?

I'd better open the Nationwide 6.5% one before that disappears!I'm with you but for TSB, mine matures on the 10th October and wanted to wait until the 31st so I could make a 1ST of November payment as well, but looks like they might be dropping.So will just renew on same day.Perhaps the backdrop of rates overall dropping and expected to drop further, and also deals at or around the 6% they offer being shortlived.I think it's sensible to get any products you're interested in now or ASAP, especially when the gain on waiting is marginal.I agree you can’t let the grass grow under your feet but I think regular savers have so far held up well. In the past two weeks I’ve opened Melton R.S @6% Market Harborough @6% and Zopa @7.5%.
I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.0 -

Given the amount of interest being paid I'd probably just have ignored it.0

As I mentioned/suspected a while back, the Tipton and Coseley regular saver is not going to have a renewal option, or at least thats what I've been told again today.
Seemingly no plans for any RS.

Velvet_Monkey said:How do you get 7.5% with Zopa? I've looked at their rates, even boosted ones, and they all seem to be around 4.x%?
