Regular Savings Accounts: The Best Currently Available List!

Nobody has mentioned the thing I object to most and that is an anonymous person being able to see very personal banking details of mine. OK, it's not a string of po-rn sites or membership of Al-Qaeda, it's just the principle. Not even close family have seen it!0

90% of my financial business goes through the account. My income and the shoveling back and forth between it and RSs etc. Approaching 100 entries a month.
I've recently been obliged to do it in support of a property sale which is a different KOF.
But, a bit to my surprise, I've been able to order a statement by post covering only 7 days instead of a month. So I've been able to avoid much of the heavy stuff, like 20 faster payments to other accounts.0 -
Redact the details with a permanent marker, the BS aren't interested in your payees/payors.schiff said:Nobody has mentioned the thing I object to most and that is an anonymous person being able to see very personal banking details of mine.3 -
Back to the Regular Saver chat folks?7

At present the wayback machine remains unavailable, though there is talk of it being made available in a read-only form. The Archived List of Regular Savers has thus been out of action for the last few days.simonsmithsays said:Back to the Regular Saver chat folks?
I have managed to retrieve the Ts&Cs for over 100 of the regular savers, most of which are currently available regular savers, others could be obtained via link guessing. These have now been downloaded and added to a OneDrive.
These are now available via the link below:
https://1drv.ms/f/s!Arb_6QPnaModcct5ENN5ddMOhkk?e=3U9IMY
I plan to archive all Ts&Cs to this link going forwards to act as a failsafe option should the wayback machine ever become unavailable for extended periods in the future. Apologies for not thinking to do this before the wayback machine went offline in the first place.
Many remain missing however so the list far from complete.
If anyone from these building societies are reading this I would like to thank Melton BS, Darlington BS, Leeds BS and Coventry BS in particular for making their summary box links so easy to guess and not bothering to take them offline and Beehive, YBS for not removing them from their website until long after they go NLA so I could copy part of the wayback machine link to recover them.

I signed up the the Leeds BS saver. They said they need to confirm my ID, can I sent them two documents signed by a professional, and send it to them. This cost £12 at the post office, as I don't know anyone. Then they reduced the rate. I called it a day.

Is the rate too low, 5.25%, to appear on page 1? Anyone know if it allows 13 payments?0 -
Yes it does.easysaver said:Aldermore

Just to confirm that I've been able to open a MHBS saver without going into branch 👍WindfallWendy said:
I've just applied - the account hasn't been confirmed yet and it's possible they may ask me to go into branch to confirm something I suppose. Will let you know!Bridlington1 said:
Website shows it has become branch opening only, however the online application link still seems to be live for now:BonettiRules said:Apparently the MHBS Fixed Term Saver has been moved to branch only.

Monmouth are really weird, apart from only crediting faster payments by the end of the following day, albeit with the right date. I made a withdrawal of £6000+ soon after midnight last night, the money has arrived (by about 5pm) so I'm happy with that. But the money is still in my account at Monmouth with a note that there are no outstanding transactions!
