  • How often do you get statements from the Co-op RS?
I think it's based on the number of transactions. Can't remember the number but I never get them.

    Cheers
  • Hi

I've tried looking for this but I've given up. Can anyone tell me if there is an issue when trying to open an new account with Principality as an existing customer. I'm sure this has been mentioned on this thread.

    Principality
You need to log in first, then apply

When logged into Principality I'm pretty sure there isn't an option anywhere to open a new account, unlike most other building societies I have accounts with. You need to find the account you want to open via their main website, then once you've ticked the box saying you've read the t&cs and click apply you can then click that you're an existing customer. It then prompts you to login. I also opened a new account with them today.

    Zopa Regular Saver

Has anyone figured out a way to get a standing order to go into it from an external linked account? As it's pay in month reset is the day of the month opened (5th for me) rather than calendar month, it doesn't fit very well with my other manual activities I usually group on the 1st.

The manual transfer says it goes to Primary pot by default, but nothing more on alternative
take a look at the Auto Save option that I think @Rheumatoid is describing - it looks as though you can pull money from the bank account, smart saver or external bank (if its one of those supported by Zopa) on a scheduled basis on the day of your choice to the account of your choice, e.g RS.
it might be worth having a chat with them to confirm this is possible - personally mine renews on the 1st, so i'll do it manually.

Yes, sorry. couldn't remember name. You can autosave via truelayer into the 7.5% RS on the day of your choice.
Auto Save doesn't let me choose the pot, only to go to the primary pot (Android app)

Instant Save through truelayer though does, which at least would save me a few steps doing it manually

Thanks. Tried this numerous times today but to no avail. Keeps saying try again. Probably give it another tomorrow.

I definitely did it via auto save into the new RS pot

    Principality
Perhaps it is really saying you can't apply as you already have that account or are not eligible for some other reason

Are you using any ad-blockers by any chance?

I've found these sometimes cause issues with bank/building society technical systems, including Principality BS going into a doom loop where it wouldn't let me apply for savings accounts at one point among others, which was resolved as soon as I turned off the ad-blocker.
