I did this in April, refreshed on 5/4/24 to get the interest paid in the 23-24 tax year and refreshed again on 30/4/24 to push the bulk of the interest to the 25-26 tax year and to eek a bit more interest out of the Small Saver.
Additionally the interest earned in those 3-4 weeks has remained in the Small Saver.
What did you ask them to do, when you intended to ''refresh''?
As far as i understand, refreshing/ opening the reg saver on the 30th of the month, ensures that in the 12 th month, full/max amount earns interest for entire month, thus generating more interest. Is it right?1 -

Has anyone received letter/email from T & C with maturity options/information?
As highlighted in earlier posts, the app is now set up to record maturity options but there is no information as to what the options are.

Refreshing at the end of the month raises the average balance of your account (assuming it's fully funded) since you end up pushing your deposits to earlier on in the account term and thus generating more interest overall. You end up spending the last 2 calendar months with a balance of £600 (maximum balance of the Small Saver), rather than just the last month.4 -

Yes, opened EA 27th Dec & RS 8th Jan1 -
Received an email from Coop bank about rate reductions earlier. Good news is the reg saver with 7% remains at it's current rate.4

Wanted to check if my money was credited from yesterday.I topped Melton up to £200 yesterday (within normal working hours, but later than I’d have liked due to funds not arriving from HRBS particularly promptly - but still earlier than Monmouthshire.) It is dated processed today but listed as posted yesterday, so wondering if the account is likely to accept £200 this month?
Not the best of starts for me with them, hopefully it will get better soon.
Meanwhile it's taking ages to get setup back up again with Monmouthshire due to postal system & still being in their system & having to reset things etc 😌
That's clearly wrong as I sent via normal bank transfer from my Virgin Money app.
Not sure what Clrd Sav Rcpt means either for transaction type.
Cleared Savings Receipt maybe?
Also on a minor note did MHBS update their branding and forget to change it when you login?0
