No Zopa invite for me despite having money in a 1yr fix and a Cash ISA via Smart Savings.  :(   However I have opened a Coventry Sunny Day RS, Market Harborough and also renewed Nationwide in the last 2 weeks so a breather might not be a bad thing.
Not sure why I was invited, I have about £30 in my account and not used it for almost a year. No logic to it at all.
    Maybe to tempt you back?

I cannot get my Zopa app to load and the incompetent customer service seem incapable of changing that, so I'll be closing mine down. No point having an app-based account, if you cannot access it via the app.
Sounds more like a user problem than a customer service problem!! They can't provide everyone with suitable equipment and IT knowledge, they can only sort problems at their end.

App seems to be fine, I updated to newer version and upon logging in was invited to open bank account which was all done in less than 5 minutes. Once that's open the App shows bank account and savings hub, simply click on Smart Savings Hub and select the regular saver which takes seconds to open.

As they've said its all Beta version so they're expecting issues but I have to say it was all very smooth for me using an Android device running on most recent versions of operating system and App.

Should have also said within minutes of setting up the Zopa bank account a transfer was made from Chase and confirmation of payee was successful and funds transferred almost instantly to new bank account then a couple of clicks in the App and it was on to the regular saver.

Probably less than 15 minutes to update App, apply for bank account, apply for regular saver, transfer from Chase and then internal Zopa transfer resulting in funded regular saver.

Accidentally overfunded Principality - they’ve applied the maximum to my account, anyone know how long the return of the excess generally takes?

Got two reg savers maturing today and gave instructions to move funds into my easy access saver. Was just logging into my account and can see the reg saver status has changed to closed but no interest added nor any funds moved to the easy saver. Cut off time for transfers today is approaching.

Phoned them and they said they can see interest credited and funds moved across but online banking not updated yet and advised I should wait. Been told what the final balance is. Asked if they can transfer all except of leaving £1(retain membership) in the easy saver and take instructions by phone I was told they would need to check if they can such instructions via phone and they would get back to me.

    Anyone experienced similar?

Your funds will be in the EA as requested, but online banking will not update until ~7:30am tomorrow. If you request the withdraw once it has, it’ll hit your current account sometime after 4pm (but early enough to move elsewhere the same day.)

Monmouthshire RSs are maturity+a day before you can see and move the interest. Giving advance instructions doesn’t seem to be worth doing with their setup the way it is. With most providers transferring to an EA and onwards from there would be the easiest way, but with Monmouthshire it just delays access to the funds.

  • I've also got access to the new Zopa bank account as of today (didn't have it last night, so worth checking again even if you didn't have it yesterday).  Opened along with their new regular saver.  For reference, I didn't even have 1p with them.  I withdraw my solitary penny in 2023, balance had been £0 ever since then.

I did the same yesterday. Instead of sending £50 in Reg Saver, I sent £250.
Today morning I checked, £200 was returned to my originating account

Does it just appear in the app somewhere? Signed in for first time in ages just now and nothing showing.
