Regular Savings Accounts: The Best Currently Available List!

Definitely not. I keep all important e-mails, they are all labeled and kept in relevant folders. I also check my spam folder regularly. If I was notified that my Zopa account is going to be closed due to inactivity I would make the necessary transaction in order to keep it opened.refluxer said:
Presumably they closed your account due to the zero balance and a long period of inactivity. I would imagine (like to think) there'll be a related email tucked away in your inbox somewhere. I always leave £1 in any 'save from £1' savings accounts that I stop using but wish to retain (even if they don't state a £1 minimum balance in the T&Cs) as it removes any ambiguity.allegro120 said:Zopa.
I had Smart Saver too, the balance was zero for nearly 2 years. Now I opened the app, had to login from scratch, Smart Saver is no longer showing and all my pots have disappeared (I had about 8 of them).0 -
My Zopa app shows v1.139.0.1727178515. I don't know if it is the latest, but it looks different from what I had before. I use iPhone, don't know if that makes any difference. Home page looks like this:jameseonline said:

Would only be interested in their Regular Saver as 2% savings is poor, especially when they themselves offer higher for using savings pots.I had a zero balance on my Smart Saver too, but I was invited - bank account now setup, £1 deposit to it arrived immediately - only takes a few clicks to then open the RS.you will need to get their bank account, and have a Smart Saver to get access to the regular saver.I will add that you need to identify yourself during the bank application process, e.g taking a selfie in the app and also an image of ID (passport) - they're using Mitek for this. After 12 months, the RS becomes a Smart Saver pot... then you'll be able to open a new RS pot.

Have they scrapped Smart Saver?

I cannot get my Zopa app to load and the incompetent customer service seem incapable of changing that, so I'll be closing mine down. No point having an app-based account, if you cannot access it via the app.0

Have you got the most upto date app/got a compatible phone?wiseonesomeofthetime said:I cannot get my Zopa app to load and the incompetent customer service seem incapable of changing that, so I'll be closing mine down. No point having an app-based account, if you cannot access it via the app.
If so uninstall and reinstall, maybe restart your phone too0 -
Market Harborough
For those considering calling Market Harborough today; when I rang yesterday around mid-day, the system is down for staff as well, so they were unable to access anything either.8 -
Now back up and running

I have also been invited to open a Zopa bank account, just got the email. Interested to know how many get asked to sign up. Very interested in the Regular saver but also feel the number of bank account I have is getting a bit out of hand as most of them don't get used as bank accounts.I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.0 -
No Zopa invite for me despite having money in a 1yr fix and a Cash ISA via Smart Savings.
However I have opened a Coventry Sunny Day RS, Market Harborough and also renewed Nationwide in the last 2 weeks so a breather might not be a bad thing.

Not sure why I was invited, I have about £30 in my account and not used it for almost a year. No logic to it at all.FishInGlass said:No Zopa invite for me despite having money in a 1yr fix and a Cash ISA via Smart Savings.
