Re: Zopa.it looks to be a new offer...running the app (updated today), it looks like they're about to launch a bank account (seems to be in beta but I can apply now) - that account will pay a fixed 2% on balances for 12 months, then it becomes variable, and 2% cashback on upto £1500 of DD per year (fixed at 2% for at least 12 months).with regards to the regular saver, it will be fixed at 7.5% for 12 months - £300 per month.15

Email from them this morning.9 -
Are the funds fixed or can you withdraw them during the term?
2% cashback is also quite nice and if they accept credit card repayments as direct debit it would be basically a £30 in cashback, that would be achievable in one month with my credit cards alone not even including normal bills, etc.0 -
Interesting, I've not done anything with Zopa for ages (£0 balance) so not surprised I haven't been invited.
Would only be interested in their Regular Saver as 2% savings is poor, especially when they themselves offer higher for using savings pots.
As for 2% on bills, it's not relevant to me anyway.0 -

You can also withdraw and replace money within the same monthly allowance period. However, if you withdraw more than £300 in a month, you’ll still only be able to deposit up to £300 that month.
For example, if you have £1,000 in your Regular Saver pot and withdraw £500 in a month, you’ll only be able to replace up to £300 that month. This means you’ll have £800 left in your Regular Saver pot.

Wanted to check if my money was credited from yesterday.I topped Melton up to £200 yesterday (within normal working hours, but later than I’d have liked due to funds not arriving from HRBS particularly promptly - but still earlier than Monmouthshire.) It is dated processed today but listed as posted yesterday, so wondering if the account is likely to accept £200 this month?0 -

We’re currently giving cashback on up to £1,500 of Direct Debits paid from your Zopa bank account per year.
The cashback rate is fixed for a year – starting from the day you open your account – and variable after that. Cashback is calculated daily and paid monthly. You can check your rate in your bank account terms.
