  • I've also got access to the new Zopa bank account as of today (didn't have it last night, so worth checking again even if you didn't have it yesterday).  Opened along with their new regular saver.  For reference, I didn't even have 1p with them.  I withdraw my solitary penny in 2023, balance had been £0 ever since then.

    I updated my app yesterday, today fiddled around. No invite so far!

    Pop-up that appeared right in my face upon opening the app, something about me being invited to open one of their bank accounts which I just followed through from there.  Wasn't something I had to look for, so chances are you've not been selected then if it's not appeared upon opening the app.

    Market Harb down the other day; today Santander has been patchy and Coop has been down all afternoon and still is??

    Possibly if they all have something in common, ie they all use the same third-party service to carry out their operations.

    Have you got the most upto date app/got a compatible phone?

    If so uninstall and reinstall, maybe restart your phone too

    Sounds more like a user problem than a customer service problem!! They can't provide everyone with suitable equipment and IT knowledge, they can only sort problems at their end. 

    App seems to be fine, I updated to newer version and upon logging in was invited to open bank account which was all done in less than 5 minutes. Once that's open the App shows bank account and savings hub, simply click on Smart Savings Hub and select the regular saver which takes seconds to open.

    As they've said its all Beta version so they're expecting issues but I have to say it was all very smooth for me using an Android device running on most recent versions of operating system and App.

    That's not what this screen suggests 🤔🤷‍♂️

    Overfunded amount just arrived back from Principality - so less than 12 hours in my case.
  • My Saffron Small Saver is maturing on 4 Oct, Friday. What should be my next course of action?

    1. Should I let it mature & wait for the maturity instructions to be executed i.e., 
    new Small Saver opened with £50 & rest proceeds to be credited to my nom acct? Would I be able to access remaining funds: 550+18.61 in my nominated acct on Friday or should I expect credit  on Monday? Will the new Small saver be opened on Friday 4 Oct automatically or is there a waiting period of a day or so?
    OR

    2. Should I withdraw all the funds now to my nom acct & wait for the interest £18.61 to be credited to the nom account later? And open a new small saver myself either on Friday or Monday, whenever the system allows?
