YBS 13th payment for the new £50 8% one - may have missed this, but is it permitted please?
£600 maximum deposits. So you can make a 13th payment if at least one of your months has less than £50 deposited within it
I might be missing something but I can't actually see that it actually states the maximum balance is £600 - that appears just to an illustration

Can someone remind me how it works if set the date of £250 standing order from a Santander current account to HSBC current account as the same day the £250 standing order goes into the HSBC regular saver? If Santander process their standing orders after HSBC and thus funds not there when HSBC try and take then do HSBC automatically try again later in day a bit like banks do with direct debits? Thks
Yes, HSBC would try the standing order again later in the day

Having said that Santander send their standing orders before HSBC do
Thanks, will set up Santander standing order for same day then. Santander ones come out c130am, what time do HSBC ones come out?
    Sometime between 3/4am I believe.

I do similar and have never had an issue

That’s what was confusing me too - it kind of says, blah blah blah so the max balance would be £600. Not as clear as they’ve been previously

    YBS £50 RS

    How much can I save?

You can open this account from £1 and save up to £50 each calendar month. This would be a maximum of £600 in one year, before your interest was added.

Loughborough Five Year Retirement Monthy Saver

I called them and have been told that the only way to apply is by visiting branch and bring passport, driving licence and council tax bill ..
I'll see what happens. Under 'How To Apply' on their website it clearly states 'alternatively, you can scan your completed, signed application and identity documents to savings@theloughborough.co.uk. An electronic payment can be made once the account is opened'.

    https://www.theloughborough.co.uk/savings/easy-access/5-year-retirement-monthly-saver

Won't be losing any sleep if the application is declined.
It also says you can apply by post which I've done sending id along with the application form.  BUT you don't have to send original ID they accept photocopies.

Has anyone received their passbook for the Issue 2 Exclusive yet? Sent my signature form off over a week ago now and nothing.

No, but I don't care. The account is showing online as is the first payment, the books are really inconsequential. I've just shredded the passbooks for the two RS's which matured earlier this month.

I received mine, yesterday but it is just a waste of postage, as you don’t need it for anything

Received it on Saturday with first payment credited 29th Aug, but as above, unless you're local to and make use of a branch, the passbook for a regular saver is largely redundant.

On the contrary, both my wife and I have needed ours for last year's Exclusive. I needed mine to close the account early (to get the interest applied to last tax year's allowance) and she needed to send hers back in by snail mail because the code they sent to manage maturity didn't work.
Keep them somewhere safe would be my advice!
