Where have others addressed their Melton applications to? The head office address or is there another that I’m missing?

    Thanks
    How to apply

Simply download, print and complete the application form using the link below. Please return your completed form, necessary identification and opening cheque to your local branch or post it to Melton Building Society, Mutual House, Leicester Road, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire LE13 0DB.

It did also mention that you could scan a send via email but is it a secure way of sending ID?
ID is not required unless their identity check fails. I wasn’t required to send ID. However they couldn’t verify my designated account so have requested a recent statement be sent!

Was also called today to say that my funds arrived successfully yesterday via FP and that the passbook will be sent out today.

Progressive BS Online Regular Rainy Day Saver Account at 7% now NLA.
On a similar note, the Monmouthshire BS Exclusive Regular Saver (Issue 2) is no longer available either...

I'm afraid @JamesRobinson48 beat you to it yesterday.
  • Principality appear to have launched a Triple access regular saver. Only £50 per month at 5.75% variable but may be of interest to some. As name suggests allows 3 withdrawals (closure counts as a withdrawal) and doesn't need a monthly payment so nothing to lose opening it.

It's the one they had at 6%, but just now with a reduced rate due to the base rate change. So a rate change rather than a new product if that makes sense
Yes, it's the same account, the rate is reduced to 5.75% from today.  To doublecheck I've made an attempt to open it and got the error message "Sorry You can't continue with your application for: 1 Year Triple Access Regular Saver (Online) You've opened the maximum number allowed for this savings account."

So much for National Savings Week

This year, National Savings Week seems to be an excuse for various companies to spam us with offers for a free (LOL) savings review.

For the Loughborough, I know you need to send the passbook  in for withdrawals. What I cannot find anywhere, in product or society T&Cs,  is how withdrawals are performed.

Is it by cheque only, or can they do electronic payments? There is nowhere to note a nominated account on the applicatin form. The whole setup is looking a little too dated for the small benefit of a (currently) slightly competitive rate ...
