I called them and have been told that the only way to apply is by visiting branch and bring passport, driving licence and council tax bill (I'm not a member). The earliest appointment they could offer was next Tuesday (they must be very busyIt probably differs from branch to branch, I've picked the closest one, 8 miles drive for me, other branches are too far away.

Thanks to the poster who provided details of the HSBC regular saver. I have had an active account with them for years, but didn’t receive any notification. No mind, opened and funded now very smoothly#660

Opened and funded the YBS regular saver this morning. I am able to log into online banking ok, but when I try to use the app and enter my customer number and DOB, a message comes up saying 'there is an error'. Anyone else had issues?
